A bit predictable, but I still enjoyed it. Reminiscent of Anne Perry's books, but not nearly as detailed.
I loved that I gave this book a try. I am wrapping up the Mary Russell series by Laurie R. Kingand was disappointed that it was coming to an end, so I went on a search for a similiar "heroine". I found one in Sarah Brandt.
This book is actually a 3.7.New York City is the real main character here, which is a bonus to me as I'm a New Yorker, but this isn't the NYC that tourists know. This is the NYC of old.
