I am a huge VT fan, but I must admit that this book left me cold. I thought it was ok, but didn't have that pop that her other books have had. I wrapped it up quickly..and figured out the killer really, really early.
Another in a very good series. Nothing hard hitting, an interesting look at the deaf culture around the turn of the century, but overall a fun romp and easy read. I enjoy visiting the characters, and am looking forward to the rest of the story hinted at in this episode...
Much, much better than the last installment. While I'd figured out the guilty party early on, there were enough red herrings to keep me second guessing myself throughout the book. Not much happened in the way of relationship development between Sarah and Malloy...well, there was a tiny, minuscule ...
