55 full colour images of Peter Browns's recent paintings accompanied by the artists thoughts and experiences while painting on the streets of Udaipur in Rajasthan. A widely untravelled Englishman of 45 years old , Peter travelled to the city with 5 compatriots: 2 professional artists one of whom a Royal Academician, a photographer, a roofer, an ex city trader. The two trips in February 2012 and again in 2013 are chronicled by the artists fluid oil sketches and his honest and sometimes amusing notes on working on the streets from 7am to 7pm, his encounters with the locals, tourists and rooftop meals overlooking the lake with his colleagues in the evenings.
