Ah, always nice to get back to Willa Cather. I think with the reading of this one that I've read all her books except a few of her short stories. Not my favorite Willa Cather book, I actually found it to be pretty depressing. Most WC books I read have a sense of magical~ness to them that was missing in this book. I actually tend to remember I had a harder time getting through this book which normally doesn't happen with any WC book I read.
