Combining some of my favorite elements--the Red Sox, musical theater, and largely angst-free portrayals of both child and adult friendships, I found this book utterly charming.

Read like a Glee episode, so much so that it took a bit away from the story. The story and characters are slightly unbelievable, almost stereotypical, and it seems that everyone accepts everything from everyone.
