Quite good, reminded me of Edgar Wallace's books. I didn't care much about Campion's humour. Gorgeous cover of the Estonian edition

This was a good read. The character has clearly developed from the first appearance and is clearly now the lynchpin of the book. He is also becomming more of an individual. Although still concerned with international crime syndicates, Mystery Mile is a good, page-turning mystery, and a thorough-going introduction to Albert Campion as main character (rather than bit part).
