It's rather...disorienting is the word I want, I think. There's this anachronism to it that throws it off just enough that I can't quite seem to get my bearings...but it's not altogether bad, I suppose.

It's always a crapshoot downloading free books, sometimes free is not enough and sometimes I feel almost guilty that I didn't have to pay. This fits the second category. Quality (no typos, no bad or missing editing) and a hot, believable story with genuine build up to likely HEA.
