Nancy Carol Moody grew up in Southern California where she spent her childhood summers watching the Disneyland fireworks from her living room window. Her poetry has appeared in many literary journals including "The Southern Review," "The Gettysburg Review," "The Los Angeles Review," and "Nimrod." Nancy's new collection, "The House of Nobody Home," was published in 2016 by FutureCycle Press, and an 8-poem sequence, "Mermaid," will appear in June, 2016, as part of the Infinities series published by Tiger's Eye Press. Her first book of poetry, "Photograph with Girls," was released in 2009 by Traprock Books. Nancy has recently completed a third poetry manuscript titled "Zorse" and is currently at work on a fourth collection. When she's not on a train, Nancy lives in Eugene, Oregon.
