Nancy Leigh Harless is a Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner and an award winning poet and writer. Her poems and stories have been included in many anthologies including Lyrical Iowa, Traveler's Tales, Cup of Comfort, The Healing Project, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Nurses'Voices; as well as many professional and literary journals. She is the author of Womankind: Connection & Wisdom around the World, a collection of short stories gleaned from her international nursing experiences and travels. (Tate, October 27, 2007) Nancy served as co-editor for To the Rescue, (Kaplan Sept 1, 2009) an anthology of stories written by healthcare workers from the scenes of disasters.; and Nurses Beyond Borders(Kaplan, July 6, 2010) an anthology of stories from nurses who have volunteered abroad.
