Nancy Rossman has been a storyteller her entire life. From early Ohio farm days through three careers, she has used her storytelling ability to motivate, encourage or diffuse a tense situation. She has attended writers' workshops at Centrum, Tin House, and Stonecoast where she studied with Alan Furst, Dorothy Allison, Valerie Miner, Ann Hood and Abigail Thomas. She has won writing contests in the Phoenix area. FIRST LOVE, LAST DANCE is her first book. It is a memoir about her mother, Elise, who fell in love for the first time at 19. Peter was his name. She became engaged to him at 21 but didn't marry him until she was 75! (they just celebrated their 15th anniversary). FIRST LOVE, LAST DANCE was released in November, 2009. NBC/Atlanta, NBC/Cleveland, and CNN all aired pieces about the couple and the book in early 2010.
