Natalie Davis is an award-winning writer-editor-producer, progressive- and GLBT-issues activist/organizer, broadcaster, and musician. She is the sole proprietor of nonprofit grassroots community service and media firm Grateful Dread Peace Media, whose offerings include multigenre news/talk Internet public radio station Grateful Dread Public Radio, progressive news blog Summit Peace/All Facts and Opinion, and the virtual-reality Goldman Mill Peace Project. Davis is the founder of the still-vibrant and necessary Armchair Activist effort and oversees the Baltimore Activists Coalition, which she co-founded with activist David M. Baker in 2000. A proud alum of both the University of Maryland and Towson State University, Davis has been hard at work using media to make a positive difference in the world since 1979. Married and the mother of two, she splits her time between Baltimore, Summit, NJ, and New York City.
