I grew up wandering the West Coast, spending much of my time in Washington State. I was a voracious reader and used to bring home paper bags full of books from the library every few days, then return them for more. When I was little, I was bitten by a monkey while feeding it a Tootsie Roll pop (and got a nasty jungle disease. Bad monkey.)Although it isn't very practical, I have an English degree from the University of Washington. I live in Chilliwack, British Columbia (east of Vancouver) with my two teenagers and their pets, a dog and a cat. A Seattle girl at heart, I love a good cup of coffee and am used to the rainy weather.
