Co więcej, zleceniodawcą jest? zmarły niedawno przyjaciel, pan Rafiel (znany z "Karaibskiej tajemnicy"). Pani Marple wierzy jednak, że skoro wybrał ją do roli Nemezis, będzie nią kierował zza grobu.
