This looks to be a promising series for me. I loved the heroine, Amelia. Her character did not fluctuate, she was strong willed but was really good at calming the troubled Lucas. When she got mad, she wouldn't stay mad and simper, she would think it over then fix things.
Loved it! The ending was really cute.
OK read, but the plot seemed too busy (maybe setting up things for other books in the series) and the way the mystery of Dolly was resolved didn't work for me, especially the scene with the "obedient bride" which was somewhat cringe-inducing.
