This adaptation for stage of "The Tinder Box" story features typical Gray characters: enchanted cats, a poor but honest lad, a princess, a silly but evil witch, some guards and nobles. Peter, the soldier, is kind and honest (more so than in many versions of this story) and naive rather than stupid. ...
