His poem Beatitude is the newest addition to Being Human the third book in the Staying Alive poetry trilogy. Staying Alive and its sequel Being Alive have introduced many thousands of new readers to contemporary poetry. His poem 'For The King", was shortlisted for the Coffee House Poetry Fourth Troubadour International Poetry Prize and his poem "Stone" was been shortlisted for the 2010 Arvon International Poetry competition. The poem Citizen was published in South Bank Poetry Magazine Issue 12 (2012). He represented Uganda in poetry Parnassus as part of the Cultural Olympiad where his poem Who Do they Say That I am was part of the The World Record anthology (Bloodaxe) July 2012. His 1st collection The Second Republic will be published in 2013-2014
