If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore, and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God! - Ralph Waldo EmersonOh, sorry. That's the quotation that editor John Campbell gave a young Issac Asimov, and which became the basis for th...

As of this writing, it has been 17 years since TWA Flight 800 exploded in mid-air and fell into the ocean off the coast of New York, killing all 230 passengers and crew aboard. The writing is electric-quick, tight, and to-the-point. If not for the cop-out ending that resolved near nothing, it would've b...

This is the first book I've read by this author. I was all ready to give it 3 stars til I got to the very end! Normally I don't complain about so-so endings if the story is good, but this ending was disappointing enough to sort of ruin the whole story! However, I very much like the John Corey chara...

I just love his wiseass John Corey character. This one involves his investigation into the crash of TWA flight 800. Lots of fun.
