I read this a long time ago--3 stars is my default in these situations, unless it was spectacular.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Luna can be stupid at times, but overall I liked her. Dmitri I'm not that crazy about. I plan on reading the next one!
I really didn't buy the whole I'm in love with Lilia, she's my mate, oh no, she's dead? -throws hissy fit- Hey you're pretty sexy, let's get it on, violently, and now we're in lurrrrve.

Take out the weres, witches, and demon plot, this story feels like a police-procedural with a tough female detective. And THAT, is just fine by me.
