I'm glad I read Ash's book prior this one. It probably changed my reaction to his appearances and the whole origins of the Dark Hunters thing. More depth, maybe; not that this series or book is more deep than the usual PNR books. Which isn't a criticism. Just that it is fairly typical of the genre...

The Dark-Hunters are ancient warriors who have sworn to protect mankind and the fate of the world is in their hands. . . He is solitude. He is darkness. He is the ruler of the night. Yet Kyrian of Thrace has just woken up handcuffed to his worst nightmare: An accountant. Worse, she's being hunted by...

Bite Size ReviewMany of you know that I’m re-reading the Dark-Hunter series in chronological order, something I wasn’t able to do when I first read the series. Night Pleasures is the official first book in the series, and I have to say I enjoyed it just as much this time around! The book starts out ...

An awful lot of fun, with a snappy sort of wit that doesn't mind tipping over into the silly, and two extremely likable characters with some sparkling chemistry. I picked this one up to get myself out of my reading slump, and it certainly worked, providing me with a quick, smooth drink of entertainm...

Lazy review time: I probably won't continue this series. I found it so mind-numbingly boring.

First book by Sherrilyn Kenyon and it didn't disappoint. I liked both of the main characters, they complimented each other well. Good mix of action, romance, plot, and mythology. Will definitely be reading more.

So this was the second of the series, and I have to say I loved maybe a little more than the first. The emotions were still running so high throughout this book. I think I love the myth of the dark hunters. The idea that they live by this strict Code, and they cannot have human relationships is such...

This has the usual wretched romance novel style with head hoping among other stylistic nits and the usual eye-rolling descriptions of great beauty and flowery euphemisms in the sex scenes--but no worse than most books on the romance aisle--I'd almost come to take that for granted. But gad. First wor...

So, way late to the party I have restarted the Dark-Hunter series. I read Ms Kenyon's BAD series last year and loved it. I read her League series over the last few weeks and enjoyed it but had serious reservations about the Dark-Hunter series. I read the first book ages ago and found it a bit twee -...
