It's been awhile since I've read the first book. Having said that, I was able to quickly get back into the action. Loved how confident Ami was. Enjoyed the romance develop between Ami and Marcus. Something BIG is going down- potentially 2 BIG things. Lots of action in this one. Had fun guessing what...

And with this installment I will leave this series behind. The heros seem interchangeable, Marcus was not interesting enough, his "special" power never made an appearance and so all this was about was the romance. Which was boring.

http://megansbookmaddness.blogspot.com/2015/10/night-reigns-by-dianne-duvall.htmlI have no idea why I put off reading this book for so long because I loved it! Okay wasnt sure if i would like this story as much as Roland and Sarah's but Marcus and Ami gave them a run for their money. This review also posted at A Bookish CompulsionThis series continues to deliver excellent surprises; in a genre sometimes saturated with retellings Ms. Duvall gives new life to the undead. The world that I liked at the beginning of this series has both expanded and begun to evolve; now encompassing n...

I was more enthralled by this book 2 in the series than book one. The characters engaged more with me and I didn't find the plot predictable this time. I enjoyed the pace and the suspense created within the story and I like how it finished; leaving me wanting and needing to read book 3 to see what...
