It's been awhile since I've read the first book. Having said that, I was able to quickly get back into the action. Loved how confident Ami was. Enjoyed the romance develop between Ami and Marcus. Something BIG is going down- potentially 2 BIG things. Lots of action in this one. Had fun guessing what...
And with this installment I will leave this series behind. The heros seem interchangeable, Marcus was not interesting enough, his "special" power never made an appearance and so all this was about was the romance. Which was boring.

I was more enthralled by this book 2 in the series than book one. The characters engaged more with me and I didn't find the plot predictable this time. I enjoyed the pace and the suspense created within the story and I like how it finished; leaving me wanting and needing to read book 3 to see what...
