Yet another great NR work in the Night Tales series. Intense, dark, brooding, angsty, dramatic, and slightly paranormal. This last angle could've worked against the story, but it somehow made perfect sense, adding to the plot, instead of making it sound ridiculous and pretentious.Loved the character...

A character like Nemesis and a fierce prosecutor in a crime ridden city. Does it feel a bit like Batman the Dark Knight at times? Perhaps. Maybe this is why I enjoyed this series so much. Second book as just as good for me as the first.
