Dumb, obvious mystery, but a nice romance. He's a cop; she's a DJ whose mother was a cop, and bad memories have made her gun-shy. (No pun intended.) Quick, entertaining read.
It's a Ms. Roberts book, need I really say more? This series I remember because of the DA/Lawyer/Cop tie ins with also a bit of paranormal. It was intriguing and so easy to read it all.
