The definition of an owl had always pleased him: "I am the owl," he would whisper to himself after he had selected his prey, "and night-time is my time." Jean Sheridan, a prominent historian, returns to her hometown to attend the twenty-year reunion of Stonecroft Academy, where she is to be honoured along with six other members of her class. I did not finish this book because I found I just didn't care at all how it would end. Also because I really didn't want to turn on the CD player in the car to continue with the story. I found myself listening to the radio regardless of what was on, just not to listen to this book.

An OK page-turner, it was hard to keep track of the suspects due to a lack of character development.
