Nikki Brianne is an artist. Poet, Author, and Natural Hair stylist in Georgia originally from North Carolina. She thought maybe she had a career in comedy but it turns out she just has a way with words and loves to laugh. She works as a stylist with her company LocsDontLye and writes every chance she gets. Originally a spoken word artist she published a book entitled Naked Words Surrendered. "It took several years to collect and organize the pieces in that book," she says. Naked told the journey of self-discovery and understanding in a very open way hence the title Naked. She enjoys listening to music, watching sports (a newly converted Miami Heat fan), spending time with her children, and curling up in bed with her favorite snack and a good fiction novel or a funny movie to fall asleep too. "Snacks in bed are the exclamation point to any good time."Motivation is the key. "You must always be aware of why you are doing what you are doing," and for Nikki her "why" is love. The love of her family and friends, the love of the arts, and the love of life. This is why she does what she does. "The decisions we make affect us long after the moment is over, therefore we should strive to act out of love."
