Nikki Prince is a mother of two, who's always had a dream to be a published author in the romance genre. Her passion lies in raising her children as readers, gaming, cooking, reading, and her writing. Her mother can now breathe easy about the child who used to get in trouble because she was hiding books everywhere and reading when it wasn't appropriate.Nikki at an early age was found to have a learning disability in all subjects, when she found romance books and began to read, that became the turning point. The love of reading brought light to her young world and told her that the labels placed on her were just that...labels. The learning disability has basically disappeared from all academic subjects with the exception of math. She believes that following of her dream to write has been instrumental in that change.That passion for reading blossomed into wanting to write her own romance stories at the age of 11. A lover of books, most specifically romance books, Nikki continued to dream and read. It wasn't till years later after life took several different turns that she got serious again about writing. This was when she decided to write heroine's that looked like her and "loved" like her. Naturally, her writing spun into romantic tales for interracial couples, mimicking her own interracial relationships. Her belief is that "love is love" and that everyone should see themselves mirrored in the pages of a romance book.Nikki's a multi-published author with several epublishing houses. She loves to write Interracial romances in all genres, but wants to let everyone know to not box her in, because there is always room for growth. Nikki wants to create stories that ignite passion, love within the characters, and bring happiness to her readers.In addition to writing, Nikki is also going to college for her Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction and English at Southern New Hampshire University online and will graduate May 9, 2015. She then plans to go to SNHU in July 2015 to continue to get her Master's degree in the same area so that she can teach Creative Writing to college students. She maintains a 3.9 GPA and has been inducted into National Honor Society of Leadership and Success's Sigma Alpha Pi as well as the International English Honor Society's Sigma Tau Delta. These successes have all been made possible because of reading and writing.Nikki's also a member of Romance Writers of America National chapter (http://www.rwa.org), OCC/RWA local chapter (http://www.occrwa.org), is a member of the board as President, and was Programs Director for two years.
