Long before Nikki Walker had an impulse to write, she was reading. Reading was her EVERYTHING--her escape and means of entering new worlds. Everything was possible between the covers of a book, especially to a little girl growing up in Newark, New Jersey in the 70's and 80's.A 4th grade contest helped her put her first words on paper and eventually when journaling, it became a means for emotionally venting. Something Oprah Winfrey said on her show, reignited her desire to write stories in her twenties. Eventually she discovered that with a pen, writing was not only a conduit to healing, but also a means of hugging others through words. Still for a long time, she was too shy to show her work to people beyond close friends and family. She has since discovered that second chances are her specialty. If you're a lover of second chances, her books are for you!You can catch up with Nikki Walker at her blog or her Facebook page:http://nikkiwalkerbookstore.com/https://www.facebook.com/nikki.walker.writerof2ndchances3344or email her at nikeezpennednotes@yahoo.comRequest Authorgraph!http://www.authorgraph.com/widgets/author/nikkiwalkerbukz
