Not my normal book but I enjoyed it. The movie was a great adaptation of it.
I read this because I had read The Road, and I wanted to see what his other books were like. This is quite a change from The Road as far as style of story.Kind of stark and gruesome, and ends on a bit of a pessimistic note, but still a pretty good story overall.
