Not as good as the Spy Vs. Spook series, but still fun to see one of my favorite couples in an alternate reality setting.
I probably enjoyed this story more, because I have read others stories by Tinnean and so I knew Vincent a bit already .I can see a problem with this story for people that haven't read any of the other stories.
Even though this says 'alternate reality' I don't think you can take in the full scope of these characters unless you've read Mann of My Dreams. Ok holiday m/m romance about two operatives in a top-secret government agency who hook up. This one just didn't work for me - not only could I simply not get into the story, it was told in alternating first-person with insufficiently distinct voices, so I kept getting confused.
