Fastest I've ever read a book! Can't wait for the sequel! Mr Barclay says he's about to start writing it.

My 'review' off another website, written on 30.08.2009Would give it 6 stars if I could. As it says on the back, 'a one sit thriller'. Amazing.

A tight exciting thriller. Everyone compares Linwood Barclay to Harlan Coben but I think he's better than Coben. One blurb on the paperback calls him the "Stephen King of thrillers". He's not there yet but give him some time. He's still young.

It kept my interest with a lot of good twists and turns and an ending that I never saw coming, and in all honesty, seemed to be a bit of a stretch, but I still...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book - it was written from the point of view of the woman's husband, and he takes you through the past, what little they know...starting with the 25th anniversary of her family's disappearance. About 1/3rd of the way through, you start to get pieces of the puzzle, but they...
