2.5 stars This was... fine. I don't have much else to add, not even any rants or pet peeves because not much happened. If I hadn't known who the author was I never would have guess this was Amy Lane since it's very different from her usual angst-filled emotional ride. I didn't feel much of a con...

This is one of the sweetest romances I've read in a long time. Ms. Lane is always good for excellent character development. In this story, there is a badly burned Professor James of literature. Then there's the hot Rafael. They seem to be opposite, yet they are not. They are so good for each ot...

It’s Not Shakespeare brings together two completely different men in a testimony to love across the divide. It is told through James’ POV -- he is a college English lit. prof who has been betrayed by love and we find him still licking his wounds three years later. Along comes gorgeous auto mechanic...

This is a sweet story. Compared to the other Amy Lane books that I have read, it is much less intense, but no less enjoyable. What I liked about this is that each characters have insecurities and we get to see them rise above them. Reading, Writing and Being Generally Awesome
As seen on Ed and Em's Reviews!2.5/5 Stars! This book was a bit confusing. There was a lot of unexplained Spanish, using it is fine, but an explanation is necessary. I took German in high school and now in college. The most I know how to say is "I want Taco Bell" and "Hello, friends." Everything else...

This is a very sweet love story and I don't normally enjoy sweet reads but both MC's are endearing. Amy Lane usually connects with me. I'm a real fan.

Sweet and thoughtful and clever and funny - and not with the Promise Rock angst which can make me super impatient. I really, really liked this one.

James didn’t know what he was being asked—he didn’t. But he would say anything, do anything, be anything, to keep Rafael here, thinking he was special just for being James.
