The tenth of eleven children, I had to do something to distinguish myself. That thing turned out to be writing. One of the coolest things that ever happened to me was finalling in RWA's Golden Heart contest for unpublished romance writers in 2001. I went on to do it again in 2002 and 2003. Another cool thing: winning the 2003 New Voice in Romance contest sponsored by Dorchester Publishing and Romantic Times Magazine. My contest-winning story went on to be published by Dorchester.A *super* cool thing: the revolutionizing of reading habits by Kindle and other eReaders. That development allowed me to publish my romantic suspense stories that didn't quite fit for traditional publishers, but which have been very well received by readers. Yay, Amazon! My newest cool thing? Being able to put "USA Today bestselling author" after my name.I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, with my family, a Rotti-Shepherd cross (Rottherd? Sheprotti?) and a tuxedo cat.You can find my romance website at http://norahwilsonwrites.com and my YA / Casters series (co-written with Heather Doherty) website at http://castersthebooks.com. And at long last, you can read about Dix Dodd's adventurs at www.dixdodd.com.

Little does Ainsley know that she has just become the key component to The Merzetti Effect b...

Got it as a freebie on Kobo. I like that it was a Canadian setting, even if it's just really by name only. It's a short story so a lot of the build-up to the MC's story is told so as a reader, I have to quickly buy into it, which I did enough to like the MCs and get their emo side (the steam didn't ...

3.5* rounded up.I really liked Lauren. She was smart and used that intelligence numerous times. I thought it took a little bit of time to pick up, but was hard to put down once I got into the story. Cal was mean at times, and then Lauren would call him out on his behavior. Good.
