@SignalBoostPR, @Jay_Northcote, #Contemporary, #MM, #Romance, 4 out of 5 (very good) Nothing Special is a sweet and heart-warming story about two men who seem opposite at first glance. Noah is pale, Sol is tanned. Noah is an indoors guy most of the time, Sol is outdoors. The list goes on, but what...
Sweet and drama free.
If you want a break from something long and complicated then check this out. This was a simple tale - sweet and fun. Geeky Noah thinks he couldn't possibly keep Sol's interest.Sol is so genuine, how could Noah doubt him?I admit not much happens but the angst is minimal, the smex is lovely and of co...
Hmm...The writing is...good, but there is so much stop and go between scenes that it's almost as if the author is asking you to take multiple breaks from the story. A single chapter can have anywhere from 2-7, with an average of approximately 5 scene changes per chapter. Sometimes it worked, and som...
This is an aptly titled book. It's an easy, fluffy story about two guys lusting at each other from afar and getting together with a little help of a paper thin secondary character. DNF at 30%Like the title, this book is nothing special. At least for me. I am just not one for this scenario:Boy meets boy, they go out, everything goes smoothly, sex follows, and after that the problems arrive to make things ‘interesting’. No sexual tension, no build-up, nothing. And the character...
This story started great, with a gorgeous guy on the tube. Who among us haven’t had a commuter-flirt? And for twenty pages I did nothing but read, enjoy, and smile. Then I started smiling some more. Then I went into a full-on grin. This is just happy shit, okay? This is silly, and cute, and funny,...
Nothing really ever happened. Neither MC really evolved. I am all for sweet and fluffy. I love sweet and fluffy, in fact. But I needed a bit more something here. On the up side it was a quick, easy read and I liked the the Britishisms from these two London boys.
