Enjoyable romantic suspense with a good plot and I always like a hero determined to get his woman. It was refreshing to see a heroine who was honest and open about her feelings. Artist Sweeney is discovering she has special abilities and finds herself attracted to her friends soon to be ex-husband.
I was a big fan of this one - excellent relationship development between h/h. The bad guy was rather obvious, but the paranormal subplot was interesting and suspenseful. Hot scenes between Sweeney and Richard. A good romantic suspense read.
Linda Howard always strikes me as an author with potential. I've read maybe 7 or 8 of her books and I've quite liked them all, but in each case couldn't help thinking 'this would be better if....'. There have only been two of her books which I have no reservations about. Veil of Night and this one....
