Not a bad story but not one of my favorites by Ms Putney. What threw me the most I think is that I read the biography of a famous General Stillwell and he wasn't the same person as the General Stillwell mentioned in this book. I had a hard time reconciling the differences.
4.5 stars. This is what Regency romance should be. It doesn't do anything particularly exciting or new with the genre, but what it does is traditional historical romance extremely, extremely well.
