Not a very deep book, but interesting, as it features an American girl learning about herself through the culture and faith of her Israeli heritage and homeland.
It was a very easy read. Avi isn't overrated. And the Amy's pov is just kickass, not the typical damsel in distress. It wasn't so heavily dramatic.
