Neatly masterful short story which suffers for the contemporary reader from being too influential. What I Happen to Be Reading At the Moment
One of the few times seeing two different versions of a text was a downside to me: The way The Horla was presented in this edition just seemed like showing two different drafts of an interesting but not necessarily ground breaking story (even if it was for it's time).
