Wow. I am amazed at how such an awful character can be cast as the love interest in a romance novel. I waited it out long enough to see if Quinn's behavior was a ruse to gain information from Chantel, which would be assholish but at least explainable. But, nope his inner monologue matches his behavi...
I didn't like the narrator's voice for the heroine!
Really dated characters -- it reads more like a 1970s Harlequin than 1988.
In the past books my impression of Chantel wasn't that good, she came across as a sophisticated Hollywood actress and in this book she is that but as we find out it is all a facade, a carefully cultivated image to succeed in show-biz. I actually kind of found it a cop-out, that she isn't a man-eater...
