So....This book is supposed to be read between book 1 and 2 of the Artist Trilogy, although it's in fact a prequel. I read it after Shooting Scars, because ....that's how I roll.I can totally see what Halle was trying to do from the very beginning. This is the story of Ellie and Javier, and this is ...

Sins & Needles ✰✰✰✰On Every Street ✰✰✰✰✰Shooting Scars ✰✰✰✰Bold Tricks ✰✰✰✰✰I don't take much interest in books on mafia, drug lords, or con artists (unless they're non-fiction), but I decided to give this a shot after falling in love with EIT. And I'm probably the last of my bookie friends to read ...

Much needed background to who Ellie was and how her relationship with Javier changed her. We knew from reading book 1 that he played a pivotal role. Javier is sexy, controlling and nuts. He is also very similar to Ellie. Looking forward to being reunited with him in book 2.

But this one, I really liked.Perhaps because in Sins & Needles you only got a shallow picture of Javier. He was painted as the bad guy...

I hate doing this but I wasn't wowed. 2.5 stars. Here we go, back to the beginning. Of course this was going to be a must-read for me because I had so many questions after finishing (and liking) Sins & Needles.Did I get my questions answered? I think so, for the most part. I wanted to know more about...
