*** 3.5 Stars ***The plot of this book about an ex-Marine and a waiter/writer was a little messy and meandered a bit, but did so in the same way that life is a little bit messy and meanders a bit (adding a sense of realism through some pretty wishy-washy decision-making). I found it thoroughly enjoy...

Story felt a bit rushed. The MC's were likable and had their cute moments when together. Execution could have used some work. It got confusing at times at who POV readers were reading from.

Loved it! Another one of those books I just started reading and didn't want to stop. The characters are well developed and the plot is original. The story moves well, although some might not like the insta-love, it's a good book.

I liked this book but didn't love it. I can't even put a finger on what was missing. It was a nice, steady story and the characters were likable. I think I was waiting for some huge climax that never came. Yes, there were some family dramas and the potential of ending the relationship but overall it...

The fact that he would kiss someone when he's no...

There wasn't really anything wrong with this book, it just didn't really pull me in. I don't think I connected with the characters or something. But it was very well written, and the story was good. I just didn't FEEL it, and know you fellow readers totally get what I'm saying here.

Good but didn't knock my socks off. This.is my second book by this author and I like her voice. I will be getting some more of her backlist.

Pretty good romance between a discharged Marine and a romance writer/waiter with a thing for Marines. There's a bit too much going on with the PTSD and the worries about Cole's mother and DADT and Marc's fear of commitment and, and... enough already.
