I really enjoyed this spin off. I've always had a thing for Vlad and I'm excited that ifun ally got to start his series! It was a little disappointing in that it wasn't nearly as face-paced or thrilling or just freaking HAWT as the Night Huntress writes, but hopefully book 2 is much better.
