This was a great book :)I will admit, some parts of it did frustrate me a lot thought. First of all, Celeste needs to learn how to stand up for herself. She isn't very brave or heroic. She claims to not care about the "sides" that people in Legend's Run takes but she's so afraid of what people will ...
Oh my gosh! This book was so frustrating. I'm sure that there are people that will love it but the clunky prose was overwhelming. I was reading and rereading passages and thinking "did she really write like this"? Where was this woman's editor?
I felt the story could have been fleshed out better. But I think the concept was still spectacular. And the author brought forth an original take on the werewolf genre. This is not seen a lot.
In a genre full of werewolves, I really loved how this was a little different. This was based more on the older tales of werewolves. Mixture of man and beast, who walked on two legs. The Wolfman. It was a nice change from the rest.I had waited a bit before reading this after it came out, to let ...
Also appears on The Screaming Nitpicker.I love Ellen Schreiber. This is no big secret. She changed my life with her Vampire Kisses series and made me the girl I am today. When I heard that she was starting a new series about werewolves, I was in. It wouldn't matter whether or not the book was actual...
Werewolf lure, mysterious psychics, love triangles, what's not to love? Once in a Full Moon has all of these things and more. This was a quick read that kept me entertained from the beginning to the end. Celeste didn't believe the psychics prediction when she told her to beware the woods, snow, ...
After reading Once in a Full Moon I’ve learned an important fact, never kiss a guy under a full moon especially after he’s just been bitten by a wolf. Bad idea. Things will just get crazy and he’ll turn into a wild animal…literally. Celeste learned that lesson the hard way, even though she fair warn...
“I was a love struck girl and yet I couldn’t control my ridiculous feelings.” -CelesteI really had high hopes and expectations for this book. First of all, the cover is absolutely stunning. AND, it’s by Ellen Schreiber. What could go wrong?? Unfortunately, it was a pretty huge let-down.There have b...
Yeah, I didn't have high hopes for this one. I thought maybe there was a chance that Ellen Schreiber had grown as a writer in the time that has passed since the dismal Vampire Kisses, but it was a long shot. And yeah, no surprise: Once in a Full Moon is absolutely terrible.Warning: This review will ...
