For a moment I thought Eloisa James had done it to me again. Her last few fairy tale inspired books have been disappointments for me because Ms. James seems to excel at creating likable characters doing very unlikable things and it just ruins their story. Once Upon a Tower seemed to have a similar s...

It is a known fact that I love everything Eloisa James writes, but really, it's not my fault! She's just brilliant. I had no idea how she could rewrite Rapunzel, but she did it wonderfully. Review to come.

I sincerely disliked Edith. From early on in the novel I couldn't help but think her feelings toward Gowan were tepid, wh...

This one made me kind of mad. Gowan was not the only one in the wrong. I hate that he was made into an ogre when Edie shouldn't have deceived him. She should have had to make compromises as well. Annoying.
