This is not actually a review of the book, just a short commentary on it: for everyone out there who is happy that they/their children are learning a bit of history along the way, a) Marie Antoinette never said "Let them eat cake", it's a misattribution that was corrected years ago, and b) the Frenc...

It is very nice. Research was really applied in the making of the book. It tells you more about history. It also gives you suspense. The clue is tungsten or wolfram or W.

My one issue with this book is that it sells the myth that Marie Antoinette said "Let them eat cake". There is no record of her ever saying that. I love that the series gets kids into history, I just don't want them learning the false history.

Book the TwoThe hunger strike began two hours east of Paris.Faster moving than the first, and that one was skids and u-turns. What a wonderful way to get some facts into youngsters without them even knowing that they are learning stuff.
Titles are so hard to come up with...

The idea of the series is fun but still not sure how I feel about the different author situation. It's not bad but everyone has their own style.
