Reading, Writing and Being Generally Awesome
Sarah Mayberry is my feel-good author. Every book I've read by her has left me feeling satisfied, with a smile on my face. While they aren't always amazing books, I've always found her storytelling enjoyable. One Good Reason is no exception. This one broke my heart more than usual, but I really love...

Its somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for me, not sure, still waffling about that one. I liked it a bit better than the one about the younger brother. I don't think though the emotional trauma was explored enough. It wrapped up a bit fast for me in the end, without the emotional payoff with Jon really o...

I'm pretty sure this is the first category romance I've ever read. No particular reason for that, other than I find the category books a bit overwhelming when I look at them on the rack at the store (or even online.) So many different lines and series to try and sort out. I probably wouldn't have re...

When a story made me cry, therefore, it's a good story...and damn, this novel made me cry. A good cry over a novel never hurts sometimes...hahaha. But, why it doesn't have a five stars? I really don't know, but it felt like it lacks something and I can't really point that out, maybe because I haven'...

The story is about a guy that is messed up and a girl that is cranky because she hasn't got any for four years. Then she gets some, he comes to his sense and they live happily ever after. It wasn't bad, especially because the author stays out of the way and lets the characters speak for themselves.

3/5; 3 stars; BI read the first one in this series a few months ago and found it surprising pleasant for a series romance. I usually avoid them but I've heard alot of good things about Sarah Mayberry and so have been checking out her books. The protagonists, Gabby and Jon, were really annoying at...

Originally posted at Romance Around the CornetOf all of Harlequin lines, Superromance is hands down my favorite one (closely followed by Medical Romance). These books can be a bit misleading, just based on the cover and the blurb one might expect a light romance, but what you get is so much more tha...
