When I was perhaps 75% of the way through this audiobook, I was enjoying it enough that I was on my way to giving it four stars. However, as I got closer to the end, I hit sections that seemed like filler and sometimes just Novak being a little too cutesy--like when you reach a point where you migh...

I very much enjoyed this funny, clever, and interesting collection of short (some VERY short) stories. Novak has a somewhat specific sense of humor, so it's not completely surprising to me to see that some readers are not "getting" the collection - the humor is sly, and sometimes on the edge of cutt...

To be honest, I only got curious as to what this book will deliver because it's B.J. Novak. I adored him in The Office and Saving Mr. Banks which led me to actually reading his book. This book contained different stories. Some connected. Most are not. Some pretty long. Some really short. But if you'...

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. Stories flowed from one to another, tight little gems ranging from the maudlin to the absurd. Mostly absurd. Novak understands the idea of saying one thing and only thing in a single short story. He sets it up, knocks it down, and then it's off to...

It's hard to deny the imagination at work here. Every story takes an odd idea and runs with it. Some work wonderfully, poignant and hilarious. Others fall flat, pointless and underwhelming. But those stories that really hit the mark make all the rest worth it.

Witty. Hilarious. Thought-provoking. Definitely worth reading.

Many of One More Thing's short stories are very short--several run only a few lines--and even the longest barely reach twenty pages. However, word count has little to do with what makes them work. Novaks' writing is intelligent but doesn't feel like it's trying too hard to be clever, and I was struc...

I am sure many customers know who BJ Novak is and that he starred on "The Office" for several years and has done movies as well. I have loved his acting for years and always loved his character of Ryan on "The Office". I assumed that his collection of short stories would be funny but I found out tha...
