I don't want to become dependent on Drew, yet it's too late. I am. Slowly, but surely, I am, and if I don't stop soon, my heart will become so entwined with his, I know I will literally bleed if we're ever separated. There is a reference in this book to the movie Pretty Woman, which is fitting consid...

3.5/5. New adult. Good story. Didn't love the writing when compared to let's say "Easy" by Weber or "Hopeless" by Hoover.

This review was originally posted on amazon on April 10, 2013: The good: a lot of people love this book, and there are decent reasons why this is true. It's reasonably well-written, and the characters are likeable. Oh, sure, it contains many of the standard NA tropes, with a bit of reversal - gorg...

To be fair, I'll admit that my two-star rating may be a little biased. This book wasn't bad, it just simply wasn't my type. When I read the title, ""One Week Girlfriend,"" it had the same lightness to it as ""Anna goes Shopping,"" or ""Georgia finds The One,"" and although I wasn't exactly looking f...

4/5 marshmellowy starsI wasn't really sure what to think of this book going in, but I ended up really liking it and I immediately started the second book after I finished this one.I liked Fable, she was strong, sarcastic, honest and went after what she wanted. She comes from a troubled home - with a...

It was as if their inner thoughts were a step ahead of the action. Maybe it's just the first-person narrative that was putting me off? By the time I got used to it and was enjoying myself that ending happened. What the heck? Talk about mixed messages! Literally. I'm not going to spoil it. I just wan...

This is a sweet story that you expect to be a romantic comedy but is much more then that. Fable is the stronger character in this story and Drew is the one that needs to be rescued, it is twist to the NA romance we do not see very often and I loved it. Thank you Monica!
