Really cool format, with lots of diminishing books to open. I'd worry that the book itself would be to fragile for toddlers, who would probably love it. But older kids and adults wouldn't tire of it too soon.Library copy.
Amazing because:1) Books inside of books inside of books!2) Little thing and littler things! I love little things.3) Childhood-like illustrations. This is what illustrations looked like when I was little.
I love the saddle stitching that runs right down the middle of all the books. Out there plain as day. A reminder of the the tactile pleasure of reading actual books, just like Ladybug, Frog, Rabbit, Bear, and Giant did.
A brilliant, delightful masterpiece!
