An interesting book -- it has been influential in some circles -- and it is certainly finely written. I am also sympathetic to what he says. But the book is too repetitive and rhetorical for my tastes. It is enough for me to read once his outrage, and then to let the facts speak for themselves. ...
Interesting book. My favorite quote was a piece of graffiti scrawled on a wall: Eliminate poverty--shoot a beggar. It just goes to show you how hard-hearted some people really are.
