Well, this happened. Again. As with the previous installment in this series, and the last addition to Ms. Quick's bibliography, The Mystery Woman, this one didn't impress me either. "Otherwise Engaged" is a great title. I enjoy Amanda Quick's (Jayne Ann Krentz writing historicals) books. This one is late Victorian, almost Edwardian -- or have I misremembered and it is Edwardian? Wishful thinking maybe. I'd love an Amanda Quick novel set in one the grand Edwardian houseparty wee...
Too much sex for my taste. But a pleasant Victorian romantic suspense fluff piece.
